Two fellowships of $25,000 will be given biennially to a poet and a fiction writer. Each fellow will teach one course per semester, conduct one two-day literary seminar, and give one reading in the Axton reading series. Writers who have received a PhD in creative writing within the last five years may submit up to 25 pages of poetry or fiction, an undergraduate course proposal, a curriculum vitae, and three letters of recommendation by November 1.
