Five prizes of $1,000 each are given annually to emerging novelists who are residents of New York City. Winners will give a reading in the Bronx. Submit four copies of up to 20 pages of the first chapter of an unpublished novel, a novel synopsis, and a brief biography by October 1. There is no entry fee.
