Two to four fellowships of up to $5,000 each are given biennially to Mississippi poets and fiction writers. Legal residents of Mississippi who are at least 18 years old and who are not full-time students are eligible for the fellowships, which alternate yearly with fellowships in creative nonfiction. Submit 5 to 10 pages of poetry or 15 to 20 pages of fiction and a one-page synopsis of the work by March 1. There is no entry fee.
