Three prizes of $1,000 each and publication in Bellevue Literary Review are given annually to a poet, fiction writer, and creative nonfiction writer for works about health, healing, illness, the body, and the mind. Naomi Shihab Nye will judge in poetry, Rosellen Brown in fiction, and Natalie Angier in creative nonfiction. Online submissions are encouraged. Submit up to three poems, totaling no more than five pages, or up to 5,000 words of prose with a $15 entry fee (a $20 entry fee includes a one-year subscription to Bellevue Literary Review) by August 1.
