Author's Bio

Gloria Monaghan is a Professor of Humanities at Wentworth Institute in Boston. She has published four books and two chapbooks. Her books include Cormorant on the Strand (Lily Poetry Review), Hydrangea (Kelsay Press 2020), False Spring (Adelaide Press, 2019) and The Garden (Flutter Press 2015). Her chapbooks, include Flawed, (Finishing Line Press, 2011),nominated for the Massachusetts Book Award and Torero, published by Nixes Mate in 2020. Her poems have appeared in Mom Egg Review, 2River, Adelaide, Aurorean, Chiron, Nixes-Mate, First Literary Review East, Alexander Quarterly, among others.  In 2018 her poem, “Into Grace” was nominated for the Pushcart Prize.
