Studio Faire offers two- or four-week residencies between April and October to artists and writers, including poets, fiction writers, creative nonfiction writers, and translators, at an early 19th-century house in Nérac, France. The residency accommodates three visitors at a time. Residents are provided with a private work space and bedroom, as well as use of a shared kitchen, dining room, bathroom, and garden area. The space is less than a 10-minute walk to shops, cafés, and bars, as well as a weekly farmers market, library, theater, cinema, and the Château de Nérac castle and riverside walk. The cost of the residency is €995 (approximately $1,090) for a two-week stay and €1,990 (approximately $2,181) for a four-week stay. Applications are currently being accepted for residencies in 2024 and 2025. Submit an author bio, a personal statement, and a project outline; applications are accepted in English or in French.
