Writeaways offers a weeklong Writeaway in New Mexico residency from May 18 to May 25 to poets, fiction writers, and nonfiction writers (including creative nonfiction writers) in Casa Bellisima, an adobe home with mountain views near the village of Tesuque, located six miles north of Santa Fe. Residents are provided with time and space to write, writing workshops, and private writing consultations. The faculty includes poet and fiction writer Mimi Herman and fiction and nonfiction writer John Yewell. The cost of the residency, which includes meals, is $3,200 for lodging in a single-occupancy room and $2,800 for lodging in a shared room. There is no application fee.
