Author's Bio

Daniel Lassell is the author of Spit (2021), winner of the 2020 Wheelbarrow Books Poetry Prize, as well as two chapbooks, Ad Spot (2021) and The Emptying Earth (2023). His poems have appeared in the Colorado Review, Southern Humanities Review, Poet Lore, Cherry Tree, and Prairie Schooner. He grew up in Kentucky, where he raised llamas and alpacas.
