Author's Bio

Davi Walders's poetry and prose have appeared in more than 200 publications, including JAMA, Crab Orchard Review, Ms, Lilith, and many anthologies. Her book, WOMEN AGAINST TYRANNY: Poems of Resistance During the Holocaust, was published by Clemson University Press. Other collections include Afternoon in the Garden (poems on Biblical women) and Gifts (commissioned by the Milton Murray Foundatdion for Philanthropy). She developed and directed the Vital Signs Poetry Project at NIH and The Children's Inn at NIH which was funded by The Witter Bynner Foundation for Poetry. Her work has received many prizes, been read by Garrison Keillor on Writer's Almanac, and been performed in New York City, Cleveland, and elsewhere.
