Diana Manister

Diana Manister has featured at such various venues as the late lamented punk rock club CBGBs, St. Mark’s Church Poetry Project, The Living Theater, Bowery Poetry Club The Dada Cafe, The Lyric Recovery Festival at Carnegie Hall as well as colleges and universities.
A Contributing Editor of Big City Lit, she is also an elected member of the American Branch of the International Critics Association (AICA)and the Association of Literary Scholars, Critics, and Writers. Her poetry reviews appear in About Contemporary Literature (contemporarylit.about.com/), The Modern Review, Forum(ALSCW), BigCityLit.com, smallpressexchange.com and artezine.com. Her poems have been published in print and web publications including Ygdrasil, Ozone Park Journal, Sheepshead Review, Four and Twenty, PoetryRevolt, Autumn Sky, Salonika, Big Bridge, Waterworks and others, and anthologized in Volumes 5, 6, 7 & 8 of Maintenant, A Dada Journal, from Three Rooms Press, as well as in Distance From the Tree and The Company We Keep from Headwaters Press and in Compilations, The Best Online Poetry. Her poem "Hubble" was set to music by composer John Raeger and premiered in Oakland and San Francisco In Dec 2013 performed by The Piedmont Choirs.
