Author's Bio

Erin Entrada Kelly’s debut novel is forthcoming in 2015 from HarperCollins’ Greenwillow Books. Kelly is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, the Asia-Pacific Writing Partnership and Philippine American Writers and Artists. She has been nominated for several awards, including the Philippines Free Press Literary Award for Short Fiction and the Pushcart Prize. She has been published in literary journals worldwide, including the Kyoto Journal, Philippines Free Press, Story Philippines and Keyhole.

Kelly, a Filipina American, was raised in Lake Charles, La., where she graduated with a degree in liberal arts and women's studies from McNeese State University. Much of her work is set in the South.

She now lives in greater Philadelphia and works as an editor for a professional publications group.
