Author's Bio

Jennifer Barber is the author of VENDAVAL in TAKE THREE 3: AGNI NEW POETS SERIES (Graywolf Press, 1998); RIGGING THE WIND (Kore Press, 2003), GIVEN AWAY (Kore Press, 2012), WORKS ON PAPER (The Word Works, 2016), and THE SLIDING BOAT OUR BODIES MADE (The Word Works, 2022). She is founding editor of the literary journal SALAMANDER in Boston, MA, and its former editor in chief. Her poetry has appeared in THE NEW YORKER, HARVARD DIVINITY BULLETIN, ORION, UPSTREET, JEWISH DAILY FORWARD, elsewhere. With Jessica Greenbaum and Fred Marchant, she edited the anthology TREE LINES: 21ST CENTURY AMERICAN POEMS (Grayson Books, 2022).
