Jenny Kalahar, Poetry Society of Indiana Premier Poet 2022-2025, is the editor and publisher of Last Stanza Poetry Journal and the founding leader of Last Stanza Poetry Association. Jenny and her husband, poet Patrick, are used and rare booksellers. She was the humor columnist for Tails Magazine for several years. Jenny was the treasurer for Poetry Society of Indiana, is the president of the Youth Poetry Society of Indiana, and is the publisher for both groups. She is the author of fifteen books. Twice nominated for a Pushcart Prize and once for Best of the Net, her poems have been published in Tipton Poetry Journal, Indiana Voice Journal, Trillium, Polk Street Review, Flying Island, and in several anthologies and newspapers, and she was the editor of poems included in the international anthology Poetic Fantasies. Her works can be found on poemhunter.com and INverse, Indiana’s poetry archive. She and Patrick previously owned bookshops in Michigan and Ohio. Through her publishing house, Stackfreed Press, she has published books in the US and UK. One of her poems, "Call Me By My Name," is included in the Polaris Trilogy, an anthology that will be sent to the moon in 2024 by NASA.
