JOLENE MUNCH CARDOZA is a lifelong poet and member of the American Theatre Critics Association.  As an ardent ally of the Washington, D.C. theatre community for 13 years, she has reviewed theatre for a variety of publications and media outlets, including as the lead critic for The Washington Examiner; Metro Weekly; Washington Theater Review; and Theatre Spotlight, among others.  Her poetry has appeared in independent anthologies and several volumes of Torrid Literature Journal to date, where she was the featured poet interviewed in the January 2020 Volume XXV: Synergy.  She attended the University of South Florida and is a graduate of the Eugene O'Neill National Critics Institute.  She is currently editing a premier chapbook of poetry inspired by naturalist Edwin Way Teale, titled Curiosity: a poet visits an old farm.  She resides in southern New England.
