Author's Bio

Originally, I am from northwest Indiana and the Chicagoland area. I am a Purdue University alum who double majored in English Literature and Creative Writing. Thereafter, I spent seven years working in the digital marketing field specializing in content development and strategy. Recently, I earned my MFA in Creative Writing (poetry) from City College of New York where I am currently an English Department adjunct and former co-organizer of the MFA Student Reading Series. In the past three years, I have had more than 30 poems published, along with various personal essays, reviews, and interviews. I have also been a finalist in the 2020-21 Glass Poetry Chapbook Contest, Spring 2020 Flash Fiction Contest finalist for F(r)iction, and will be completing a writing residency with Poets Afloat in a near future.
