Author's Bio

Born and raised in Miami, educated at Harvard and UC Irvine, and residing now in Chicago, Leah Claire Kaminski's poems have recently appeared or are soon forthcoming in Bennington Review, Boston Review, FencePrairie Schooner, The Rumpus, ZYZZYVA, and elsewhere. Chapbooks have appeared or are forthcoming from Dancing Girl Press, Harbor Editions, and Milk and Cake Press. Editorial Assistant for Seneca Review, Leah is also a reader for The Dodge and a former editor for The Rise Up Review. Finalist for a WICW fellowship and a winner of  the Beullah Rose Poetry Prize, she's also received Grand Prize in the Summer Literary Seminars Fiction and Poetry Contest and received support from Everglades National Park, Ragdale Foundation, UC Irvine, Soaring Gardens, Napa Valley Writers’ Conference, and more
