Author's Bio

Mark C Watney was born and raised in South Africa and immigrated to America in 1977. He taught high school in downtown LA for 7 years and currently teaches at Sterling College in Kansas. His first poem was published in a 1976 anthology of the best high school poetry in South Africa. Four decades later he published a 2nd poem-- at the age of 56.
