Author's Bio

Mehnaz Sahibzada was born in Pakistan and raised in Los Angeles.  Her first full-length poetry collection, My Gothic Romance, was published in April 2019 by Finishing Line Press.   She holds an M.A. in Religious Studies from UC Santa Barbara, and she is a 2009 PEN America Emerging Voices Fellow in Poetry. Her work has appeared in numerous publications, such as Liminality, Moira, Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine, The Literary Hatchet, Pedestal Magazine, and Strange Horizons.  In 2016, she served as Screener in the Kingsley & Kate Tufts Poetry Awards.  A high school English teacher, she lives in southern California.  To learn more about Mehnaz, visit her at www.poetmehnaz.com
