Author's Bio

Nicole Johns received her MFA from the University of Minnesota and a BA in English from Penn State-Erie. Her first book, PURGE: REHAB DIARIES (Seal Press, 2009) was nominated for Foreword's Book of the Year and has been described as an "unflinching work rooted in feminist self-reflection." Nicole has also published numerous poems in a variety of literary magazines. She currently teaches English at a Twin Cities college.
