Author's Bio

Rebecca Balcárcel is the award-winning author of SHINE ON, LUZ VÉLIZ! (2022) and THE OTHER HALF OF HAPPY (2019), middle-grade contemporary novels, as well as co-editor of and contributor to BOUNDLESS: Twenty Stories Celebrating Multicultural and Multiracial Identities (2023). She also serves the students of Tarrant County College as associate Professor of English.
