Author's Bio

Ian M. Rogers writes cool, funny literary fiction and is the author of MFA Thesis Novel (2022), a comedy about academia. Originally from New Hampshire, he holds a master's in creative writing from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and taught English as a Foreign Language in Japan for many years, most recently at Kanagawa University in Yokohama. His side project, But I Also Have a Day Job, examines the struggles of balancing a creative career with keeping the bills paid. He works as a developmental editor and writing coach for fiction and academic publications ranging from architecture and social work to agronomy and mechanical engineering.
