Author's Bio

Writing poetry from age 8, hit his stride when he fell into it at 17 as a way of expressing his romanticism in piercing his intrinsic shyness.  Has read from Boston to Los Angeles, from New Orleans to Michigan.  Fiercely productive, with over 30,000 poems in his catalog.  Author of dozens of chapbooks.  Named "the Romantic Poet of the Internet" in 1996 by Yahoo!, and "US National Beat Poet Laureate" in 2017 by the National Beat Poetry Foundation.  He performed, on his podcast, a sanctioned (with permission from Ginsberg's estate) reading of "Howl" in 2015.
