Author's Bio

William Reichard is a writer, editor, and educator. He's published seven poetry collections, most recently, Our Delicate Barricades Downed (Broadstone Books, 2021), and The Night Horse: New and Selected Poems (Bright Horse Books, 2018). Reichard is the editor of the anthology, American Tensions: Literature of Identity and the Search for Social Justice (New Village Press, 2011), and he revised and edited The Evening Crowd at Kirmser's: A Gay Life in the 1940's (University of Minnesota Press, 2001). Reichard holds a masters degree in Creative Writing, and a doctorate in American Literature, both from the University of Minnesota. He lives in Saint Paul, MN.
