April is both National Poetry Month and Sexual Assault Awareness Month and The City College of New York's poetry community is speaking up for survivors everywhere. Following this year's SAAM theme of Building Connected Communities, 20 CCNY poets---graduate and undergraduate students, alumni, staff, and faculty---will be reading original poems in solidarity with the fight to end gender-based violence across the globe. Join us Tuesday, April 2nd at Shepard Hall 250, 6-8pm, for a powerful evening of allyship, artivism, and poetry.
