Editorial Focus

The goal of Seven Kitchens Press has always been to publish the very best poetry and prose they can find in carefully-edited, hand-trimmed, and hand-tied chapbooks; to work in close collaboration with authors through the production process; and to present a wide aesthetic range from both established and emerging writers.

Tips From the Editor

Visit our website to read sample work from our authors. We’re interested in your work, not your reputation, and have a special fondness for odd ducks. Reading periods are typically four weeks long for each of our open series. Especially interested in new and emerging voices from the widest possible range of experience.
