Studio Faire offers two- or four-week residencies year-round to artists and writers, including poets, fiction writers, creative nonfiction writers, and translators, at an early 19th-century house in Nérac, France. The residency accommodates up to six visitors at a time. Residents are provided with a private work space and bedroom and two bathrooms, as well as access to a common kitchen, dining room, and garden area. The space is less than a 10-minute walk to shops, cafés, and bars, as well as a farmers market, library, theater, cinema, old town, and the Château de Nérac castle and riverside walk. The cost of the residency is €1,300 (approximately $1,431) for a two-week stay and €2,500 (approximately $2,752) for a four-week stay. Lodging in a self-contained apartment with a kitchen, a living room, a shower room, garden space, and a private studio is also available; the cost is €1,500 (approximately $1,651) for a two-week stay and €2,900 (approximately $3,192) for a four-week stay for one person or €2,400 (approximately $2,642) for a two-week stay and €4,600 (approximately $5,063) for a four-week stay for two people.
