2007 New Times Poet of the Year "Best of Miami" edition. Inducted into MDC Hall of Fame for Literary Arts. Received the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award 2018, Pulitzer Prize nomination 2014, nominated for Poet Laureate of Florida 1980. The Allen Ginsberg Poetry Award. Lyrics preserved in the ARChive of Contemporary Music. Major works preserved in the Emerson Archives. 16 poems will be launched to the moon as part of the Lunar Codex Archive of Contemporary Culture / Polaris Collection - September 2025. Camner is co-editor of the "Sea of Tranquility: a Literary Anthology" which will also be included in the Polaris Collection of the Lunar Codex.
