Author's Bio

Jakob Brønnum has published around 50 books of poetry and prose as well as other work in his native Danish. 

His work has appeared in La Piccioletta Barca, Beyond Words Literary Magazine, The Ekphrastic Review and Line Breaks by Coverstory Books, in whose anthology New Contexts 4 (2022) he contributes a poem. He has been published in the Nordic languages in magazines and anthologies. One of his books is translated into the Norwegian, one into Serbian. In 1992 a poem appeared in the legendary Literaturnaja Gazeta (in Russian).

He holds as master in theology from Aarhus University. His work has received grants from among others The Danish Art Council. He has lectured extensively in Denmark on his books about literature and existential themes.

He lives in Sweden with his family
