Author's Bio

A poet immigrant, in addition to five poetry collections in English, JOANNA KUROWSKA published two books of poetry in Poland, ŚCIANA : THE WALL (Wrocław: Wydawnictwo Dolnośkąskie 1997) and OBOK : NEAR (Kraków: Oficyna Literacka 1999). Kurowska's work has been published widely in American and international journals; and translated into several languages.
