Fellowships from the Guggenheim Foundation, the National Endowment for the Arts, and the Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities, University of Edinburgh. Pushcart Prizes. Residencies at the MacDowell Colony, Ragdale, Hall Farm, The Anderson Center (Red Wing, MN) and the Rockefeller Foundation's Bellagio Center. Served as an Artist-in-Residence at Isle Royale National Park. A Fulbright/Visiting Professorship at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, Winter and Spring, 2012.
