Author's Bio

Rowan MacDonald lives in lutruwita / Tasmania with his dog, Rosie.  His writing has appeared in publications around the world, including most recently: New Writing Scotland, Meniscus Literary Journal, Bright Flash Literary Review, Dipity Literary Magazine, The Headlight Review and Sans. PRESS.  His work has also been adapted into short film by New Form Digital

Rowan's fiction has been awarded the Kenan Ince Memorial Prize and nominated for Best of the Net.  He has twice been shortlisted in the Australian Writers' Centre Furious Fiction Challenge.  His words are forthcoming in Overland, Twenty-two Twenty-eight, Inkwell Journal, Watershed Review, The Bookends Review, Vine Leaves Press and #BloodLore: A White Stag Anthology.

His childhood ghost story features in the new book, Hexy Bitch, by BAFTA-winning actress, Daisy May CooperRowan recently appeared on the podcast, Make Every Word Count, and YouTube channel, Shawn Breathes Books. His short fiction is currently being adapted for US horror podcast, Thirteen.

He's ranked in the Top 5 Most Popular Book Reviewers on Goodreads (Australia).
