The Department of English at William & Mary, a public university of the Commonwealth of Virginia, invites applications for a non-tenure track, Visiting Teaching Faculty position in Creative Writing that will begin August 10, 2025. The appointment will be issued for a 2-year period, concluding with the 2026-27 academic year.

We seek an individual with expertise in teaching multi-genre (poetry/prose) introductory courses; intermediate poetry and/or fiction workshops; and special topics workshops that can add to our growing and lively Creative Writing minor. The successful applicant will be expected to be an effective teacher and will have a 3-3 teaching load.
