Author's Bio

Dr. Adam Falkner (he/him) is an author, performer, and educator. His is the author of The Willies (winner of the 2020 Midwestern Independent Book Award), and his work has appeared in The New York Times, The Guardian, The Rumpus, Painted Bride Quarterly, THRUSH Poetry Journal, The Adroit Journal, PBS Newshour, and elsewhere. A former high school English teacher in New York City’s public schools, Adam is Vice President of Design for the Pahara Institute, one of the nation’s foremost fellowship programs for senior leaders in education. He holds a PhD in English and Education from Columbia University, and lives in Brooklyn. www.adamfalknerarts.com
