Author's Bio

Jacquelyn Markham, author of three chapbooks, including Rainbow Warrior, Finishing Line Press (2023) and a personal mythology, Peering Into the Iris: An Ancestral Journey, (2008) has published widely in literary journals, magazines, and anthologies.  Recent publications: Women and Earth, printed in English and Russian and The High Window, a quarterly review published in UK. A recipient of numerous grants for literary merit and the Adele Mellen Prize for distinguished contribution to scholarship, Markham holds an M.A. and a Ph.D. in Creative Writing from Florida State University.  She has held faculty positions at Florida State University, The University of Georgia, and the University of South Carolina, among others. She lives and writes in South Carolina.
