Liz Minette lives in northern Minnesota, the ancestral and contemporary lands of the Anishinaabe and Dakota. She's been writing poetry for a while.

Hernandez for Tucson Festival of Books, 2024 ~ participating in a poetry co-hort / master class with poet Felicia Zamora for Tucson Festival of Books, 2021 ~ reading and participating at Houston Poetry Fest 2017 and 2018, Houston, Texas ~ workshopping, writing and reading with Winter Tangerine at Poets House in New York City, 2018 ~ being published in numerous lit journals such as Abbey, Blue Collar Review, The Thunderbird Review (which is published out of Fond du Lac Tribal & Community College just down the street where Liz lives) ~ other journals: Gargoyle, Chiron Review, Abbey, Nerve Cowboy, Caveat Lector, Calyx - A Journal of Arts & Literature by Women, Poetry Victims, Main Channel Voices, once published out of Winona, Minnesota where Liz went to college.
Liz works at a community access television station in Duluth, Minnesota and dj's for The Women's Music Program on The North 103.3 FM in Duluth.
